RABAT, Morocco (AP) — Euphoric Moroccans filled the roads of their capital and in urban areas across the North African country on Saturday, waving banners, blaring horns and lighting flares to commend the public soccer group's noteworthy triumph over Portugal at the World Cup.
Morocco beat the Portuguese 1-0 in Qatar, taking Cristiano Ronaldo out of the competition and making the Map book Lions the primary African and first Bedouin group to arrive at the World Cup elimination rounds.

The capital, Rabat, was overflowing with happiness while Morocco fans additionally celebrated in the roads of Doha and in urban areas across Europe, where numerous Moroccans live. "This is incredible. It's the initial time ever," said Saleh al-Rayes, a 27-year-old fan from Saudi Arabia in Doha.
As a Bedouin at the principal World Cup held in the Center East, al-Rayes said he feels a feeling of consideration and portrayal in the realm of soccer, a spot that has been overwhelmed by European and South American groups.

In Nablus, a video posted via web-based entertainment showed gatherings of Palestinians reciting "Morocco!" under the careful focus of Israeli fighters across the road.
In Ramallah's Arafat Square, thousands moved and desserts were conveyed when the game finished, "while vehicle horns blastd and firecrackers and celebratory gunfire shook as the night progressed," the Watchman detailed.
"It's delightful," said 23-year-old Abdullaziz Errayes, who is from Libya and had his public banner tied around his neck like a superhuman cape as he was leaving the arena in Doha. "It's the primary Bedouin, the principal African country to arrive at the elimination rounds. Morocco is addressing us."

Artists likewise praised Morocco and underlined the meaning of the triumph for the mainland.
"Africa stand up … what an amazing ride — keep it up refined men," Haitian-conceived rapper and vocalist Wyclef Jean tweeted. Shakira, a Colombian pop vocalist with Lebanese roots, celebrated with a one-line tweet: "This time for Africa!"
There was delight in Tunisia on Saturday after many Morocco fans accumulated before the metropolitan performance center in the capital, Tunis, shooting horns as they drove along the fundamental street.
Waving Tunisian, Moroccan and Palestinian banners, allies of the adversary North African group moved and recited trademarks hailing the Chart book Lions.
